Greetings my friends,

So I am More than Happy to Announce “Organize Your Life with Dr Starry John“.Before we dive in I have something to confess loud and clear without being boastful but truly humbled, that Life is throwing many blessings at me. Many opportunities that once I dreamed off, are falling into my lap. Many Encouraging words that I have never heard off, Gratitude praises that I never imagined are beginning to be a part of my daily life.

Great Thanks to one and all for all your love showered upon me.

In a Wishy-Washy Situation,my Life changed. From being a People Pleaser (looking FOR MY WORTH IN OTHER PEOPLES OPINION) to Being Confident and ACCEPTING AND LOVING MYSELF THE WAY I AM,Life has taught lessons.

Trust Me,I lacked self-confidence,was disoriented and sidetracked. Caught in the whirlpool of Negative emotions, negative people etc etc.

I questioned MY VERY EXISTENCE.But Then many Thanks to My Dear Parents and a handful of friends,I am Back with a Super Bang,AKA STARRY JOHN.

So this series is all about sharing HOW ORGANIZING MY LIFE HELPED ME BOUNCE BACK AND MAKE MYSELF RACE READY.

Lets Dive In.

Everything,Begins in the Mind.”YOUR THOUGHTS BECOME YOU.”So lets start by ORGANIZING OUR MINDSET.

Preface:

Our brain is a wonderful and stupendous organ.The control centre,the automated centre of our body.

The brain has different areas specifically designated with a special function or cognitive skill.

 

Today lets focus on the two main areas that we want to focus today.

Frontal lobe and Temporal lobe.

Frontal Lobe-Tackles reasoning,planning and complex thinking.

Temporal Lobe-It houses the Limbic System,the emotional intelligence.

Long story short,”TAME THE ABOVE TWO CENTRES AND YOU HAVE ORGANIZED YOUR MIND.”

“Organize Your Thoughts and Your Life Is Organized.”

Replace negative thoughts with positive ones, destructive thoughts with constructive ones and disempowering thoughts with empowering ones. You have organized your mind.

Remember the Salman Khan dialogue from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo,”It all begins in the mind.”

I know,its EASIER SAID THAN DONE.

Hey guys,I have not mastered it,I am in a process and striving for a good one.But I have improved significantly.My whole PERSPECTIVE GAME CHANGED.

THERE ARE SIX STEPS TO PRACTICE AND TO BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN IT COMES TO TAMING YOUR MIND TO BE A POWERHOUSE OF SUPREME INTELLIGENCE IN ALL ASPECTS.

STEP 1: GRATITUDE

Learning Point:Gratitude attracts blessings,releases feel-good hormones and you are pumped up for the day.You have positive vibes.

Can you Just think HOW FORTUNATE YOU ARE?(The reasons listed itself will make you feel gratitude)

Action Steps:Daily the first thing you do in the morning before you brush your teeth is :

a) Give a Big Smile to Yourself.

b)Close your Eyes and quickly Count your 5 Blessings and whisper a Gratitude.You can do it mentally or the best way write it down.

Each day come up with new reasons to be Grateful for.

STEP 2:

MEDITATION RITUAL

Learning Lesson:1) Mediatation removes cluttered thoughts.When you inhale you bring in the fresh air and on exhaling you allow the negativity,the scum of clutter to wither away.

2) It also raises your AURA.Do you know each and every person you meet has an aura?Did you feel anytime when you talked with someone and you were like jostled in contrast to another who made you feel low on energy?

Thats the magic of Aura.Its the energy and frequency and vibrations that you send when you hang out.

Also brownie points here,”The people whom you Gel Along are the ones who also radiate on the same frequency.”

So Fellow dear ones,Be the Most Powerpacked person in the Room lest people avoid you for your Negativity.

You still hold a chance,Try meditating.

Action Steps:

a)You can do this immediately after you get up or some time later,Close your Eyes and Take DEEP BREATHS.

Breathe in and Breathe Out.For five minutes.Allow your entire focus to be concentrated on the breathing pattern.Allow your thoughts to decipher.

b) Do it Slowly and be Aware of what you do.

STEP 3:

POWER OF NO

Learning Lesson:So recently I was listening to Tim Ferriss podcast,when he featured a special Book read session on the Book “Essentialism:The Disciplined Pursuit Of Less” by Greg Mckeown and trust me folks I was spellbound with the amazing psychology the book dealt with When it Came to SAYING NO GRACEFULLY.

I highly recommend you all to please listen to the podcast.

And few days before the podcast I read the amazing James Altucher theory of Saying No which was so specific.Below is the venn diagram.

 

Action Point:Follow the below venn diagram and SAY NO,when it does not align with your energies,cause Life is very short to adapt to other peoples whims and fancies.

Bingo That.

Saying No gracefully helps you organize your good thoughts and not into a random rant.Disclaimer,THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU USE THIS,SO THAT YOU HAVE MANY FRIENDS AND NOT FOES.

STEP 4POWER OF NOW

Learning Lesson: Just Enjoy the present moment and relish the moment. Don’t put the worry of your yesterday added to your today with your worry of tomorrow onto your mind. Its taxing and nerve-wracking. Holding upon the above helm of thought, I would say this helps in clearing away the not so useful thoughts and helps you with better clarity.

Your thoughts wade away and you are focused on GIVING YOUR HUNDRED PERCENT TO THE PRESENT SITUATION.

I know,its easier said then done.But nothing worth mastering is EASY PEASY right?

Action Points:

  1. Go and buy the amazing book POWER OF NOW by Eckhart Tolle.Its a phenomenal book,with amazing quotes and inspirations about practising the NOW Ritual.
  2. Start by practising it NOW.Start Focusing on One Hour daily ritual of this NOW HABIT and gradually increase.

 

STEP 5: BRAINDUMP AND BRAINSTORM

Learning Lesson:A fter reading the Artists Way book,my life changed or to put it in other words,my thoughts were getting to be organized.The book mentions a game-changing habit,”Morning Pages.”

Its nothing but a STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS where you pen down all the random thoughts that hover and clover your mind and keeps your vision and mission blurred.It can be tantalizing but let this be a part of your morning ritual.Where you get all your random nunaces BRAINDUMPED to your journal,before you progress ahead with your day.

This not only stimulates CREATIVITY(Right brain is put to work) but you feel focused and productive with better thoughts.

This also helps you secondarily in Brain-storming and coming up with new ideas for your Professional and personal growth.

This ritual is my Life-Saver.

Action Point:

1.Grab any notebook and start dumping your thoughts,whatever comes in your mind.

2.Keep it personal,(better if not shared)

So,folks these were so the techniques/tactics I use to keep my mind in sanity.
