“Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it. Action has magic, grace and power in it.”

-Goethe

Warm Greetings and Refreshing Vibes dear readers.

So today’s blog is an impromptu one AKA never planned, a profound inspiration that has given me the Drive and Push to pen it down and share.

So I recently joined Amdavad Toastmasters and delivered my first speech as an impromptu speaker as a member. Before that, I did deliver two impromptu speeches.

Long story short,”I WON ALL THE THREE IMPROMPTU SPEECHES, THAT I HAD PARTICIPATED IN A ROW. CALLING IT A HATTRICK.”

Pats and Claps to myself.

So how did I do this?

I have Three Lessons to Share that has inspired and enabled me to WIN.

Lesson 1;

“The Things That I Want To Know Are In Books;”

-Abraham Lincoln

The first lesson comes from Abraham Lincoln. He never had any formal education and grew up in a poor socioeconomic background.

But he that burning desire to gobble all information and to prepare himself to achieve his dreams. He started reading books and jotting down the points and started giving speeches by himself. He had his own collection of Library…..

He spent his time arduously and audaciously in his reading nook and the World stands and testifies that he is one of the MOST RENOWNED AND RESPECTED ORATORS THE HISTORY HAS WITNESSED.

Learning Point:By now you know,I am a voracious reader,I love to annotate and reflect on all that I have read.

Doing this consistently not only breeds CREATIVITY but also is like exercising my Creative Muscle and transferring the insights from long-term memory to short memory.

So when given an opportunity to speak,I NEVER HESITATE and STEAL THE SHOW;)

Lesson 2:

“Read a Thousand Books and Your Words will Flow like a River.”

-Lisa See(Snow Flower and Secret Fan)

Many a times,am asked how do I have such a rich vocabulary? (Spoiler alert,I dont consider myself having one though)

,but then I humbly accept it and tell them that I am on a quest of improving it and also give a piece of advice.

Again it has something to do with reading books.

Learning Point: Whenever I read and come across a new word, phrase or Simile or metaphor,I immediately look into my dictionary, transfer them onto my VOCAB NOTEBOOK or on my NOTES app on my phone. Then I try to use them either in my blog posts, instagram captions or in my daily conversations.

I have kept a target of learning 5 New Words daily and use them the very same day. Cause I believe Done is Better than Perfect.

So again when given an opportunity to Host a show on a short notice or giving an impromptu speech,I never run out of words.

Special Mention to My Broca’s Area(Vocab Centre in the Brain).

Lesson 3:

“If You Dare, Then You Have Already Gotten Further Ahead Than 99 Percent Of All The Others.”

-Daniel Ek(Co-Founder of Spotify)

Dear Friends,I swoon by the above quote.Life throws opportunities on a daily basis. Its upto us to acknowledge with a Yes or a No or Just Ignore depending on our preferences. If you are too busy wallowing in your self-pity or complaining about your life or wife or children or your work space, then am sorry I have to say,you will be Unhappy and will not only sap your joys but the Joy threshold of your near and dear ones.

Learning Point: So,this is my Thumb Rule, Whenever given an Opportunity I DONT THINK OR WAIT FOR THE WORLDS APPROVAL.I DONT ALLOW MY FEAR TO CLOUD MY FAITH AND I JUST TAKE A LEAP AND ALLOW THE NET TO CATCH ME.

If I am caught, Bingo..and If I Fall,I get up and Start and Improve..

I directly HIT THE ENTER BUTTON and Go On.If I fail,I have learned and if I Succeed I will be grateful and look for another opportunity to grow myself.

Also,Whenever a situation arises when I have to express how someone is dear to me,how much I value them I LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED to Express myself to the person either by giving my Time, writing posts about them, giving them gifts, praising them in front of a huge audience or showcasing them onto my social media.

This is What I AM. I LOVE TO DO WHAT I DO AND SO I DO.

Life is too short not to acknowledge or grab the opportunity.

Remember the Golden words, “YOU ARE NEVER GUARANTEED A TOMORROW.

So, folks, these are my TOP THREE LESSONS which on religious practice has helped me to be a person that I am today and somewhere down the globe I try to give GREAT  VALUE to each and everyone in my vicinity.

That’s it for today friends …

Hope this has inspired you to TAKE ACTION MORE OFTEN,THAT WILL HELP YOU LEARN OFTEN.
